Here is a quick overview of the Honor 200 smartphone.
Honor 200 Overview
Design and Display
Design-wise, the Honor 200 looks almost similar to its “Pro” counterpart. That being said, it comes with a curved back and a large ovular camera island. It is available in four finishes wherein the Velvet Black is the only monotone option. Meanwhile, all three remaining options — Moonlight White, Coral Pink, and Sky Blue, have a unique patterned finish on the back.
On the front, the phone has a slightly curved screen stretching 6.7 inches. The panel here is an AMOLED spanning FHD+ in resolution. Additionally, you get a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 4,000 nits, and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming. Other than that, the Honor 200 covers the full DCI-P3 colour gamut while also offering wet hand touch support.
Performance
This phone does not stand out as much in terms of performance. The Honor 200 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor for primary computing. It is a decent midrange processor that launched in November 2023. This silicon comes with 4nm fabrication and offers a peak clock speed of up to 2.63 GHz.
In addition to the chipset, the Honor 200 is available in five different memory and storage configurations. The latest offering is available in three RAM sizes — 8GB, 12GB, and 16. On the other hand, it comes in 256GB and 512GB storage options. Furthermore, this phone also packs a vapour chamber with an area of 5,029mm2 which regulates the phone’s temperature.
Camera and the rest
The Honor 200 is well-equipped in the camera department. Starting with the 50MP primary camera that is coupled with the 1/1.56” Sony IMX906 sensor with OIS support. Moreover, it also houses a telephoto lens as well as an ultrawide/macro camera as auxiliary units. The former is a 50MP shooter with the Sony IMX856 sensor while the latter is a 12MP snapper. In the meantime, the front camera is also a 50MP unit.
In the tank, this phone packs a large 5,200 mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. The cell in the Honor 200 is the company’s silicon-carbon battery that offers a leading level of endurance. Other than that, it comes with 5G cellular, WiFi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, and NFC support.
